At Elizabeth Seton Children’s, we encourage and embrace any volunteers who are just as committed to our mission as the rest of our team members – volunteers who will selflessly give their time and attention to our children and their families. Whether it’s doing arts and crafts, reading, making music, helping each child interact with their environment or holding a child’s hand, there are always opportunities available for those looking to give back.

Requirements

Because of the nature of our work, volunteers must be at least 16 and should be able to commit to a regular and predictable schedule. We work with a protected population and require an application and screening process including medical and background checks. The process may take four to six weeks to complete.

Groups Welcome!

Elizabeth Seton Children’s also welcomes groups who wish to volunteer to support special events. Corporate groups and groups from religious organizations, as well as students from local schools and community programs, can bring so much to our children’s lives through the donation of their time. Sponsoring a special event is a wonderful way to make a big impact!
