A Big Day for Little Graduates

July 30, 2026

Every graduation marks the end of one chapter and the beginning of another. At Elizabeth Seton Children's School in White Plains, this milestone carries an especially profound meaning.

Last month, 41 remarkable students received their diplomas surrounded by their loved ones, educators and therapists, as well as our local elected officials and friends from the community. Together, we celebrated all they have achieved and their bright futures ahead.

This year's Keynote Speaker, Latavia Sturdivant, Ms. Wheelchair America 2026, shared a message that captured the spirit of the day. Reflecting on her own diagnosis and experience, she spoke about the power of believing in possibility, even when others see only limitations. "No one in this room - not a single doctor, not a single report, not a single prediction - can write the ending of the story that these little graduates are just beginning to tell," she affirmed.

At our school, success is reflected in academic achievements, hard-earned independence, newfound confidence and the resilience each student demonstrates as they progress. Every breakthrough, whether large or small, is the result of tremendous perseverance, unwavering family support and the dedication of our team members who believe deeply in every child's potential.

Congratulations to Elizabeth Seton Children's School's Class of 2026! We cannot wait to see where your stories lead next!
